Recent activity feed changes

The recent activity feed on your home page will now show up to 30 actions from your friends (not the entire network) going as far back as the last week. Due to the focused nature of this site, we realize that frequency of use may be lower than it is on more general social networking sites, so the longer time frame for the recent activity feed should give us a better view of our friends' activity. |

The more homeschoolers who create a profile on this site, the more useful it will become for all of us. We're only in our first month, so there's a lot of ground to cover ahead. You can help by passing the following message along to other homeschoolers by email, blog, groups, discussion boards, etc.:

Zipcode Radius Search Added!

We have recently added the ability to search member profiles within a given radius of any U.S. zip code. With this feature, it is no longer necessary for new users to select a predefined geographical area for their profile to be listed in, and the site will be more useful to members who might live between or slightly outside the areas we had initially defined. |
